The Roman Baths Museum
The Roman Baths Museum, a World Heritage Site, receives over one million visitors annually, but its layout makes access impossible for wheelchair users and the elderly. was briefed to use Panoramas and Video to capture all the atmosphere of the steaming waters of the sacred spring, the Gorgon’s Head, the spectacular Temple Courtyard, the Goddess Minerva and splendours of the Great Bath on the traditional tourist route.

Using minimal text the Virtual Tour is now housed in a specially designed display stand and is easily understood by people of all nationalities. It allows the disabled visitor to have full control of their own personal Virtual Tour.

The response to the tour is fantastic!  Visitors with mobility problems are so pleased that we have taken the trouble to think of their needs welcome them properly so that they too can enjoy their visit to the Baths along with their family and friends.
